Make Wave a Repository / Package

I know Wave is still in beta, but I think it would be better if Wave was one folder we put into the root of Laravel and run an artisan command to install the other files. Just like Voyager how once the package is install you just need to run 'php artisan voyager:install'.

This is how Laravel Nova is installed https://nova.laravel.com/docs/1.0/installation.html

I like Wave a lot, but this is really frustrating having to idefntify the files that are specifc to Wave just so I can upgrade Laravel.

So are you a Zombie Developer or a Laravel Developer?

+1 from me too. This would seem to be a pre-req for a GA product (to me anyhow).
